MY LETTER

Dear Nicola, John & Hamish

thank you for the letter

I am writing from lolly land it is soo yummy I can’t stop eating.

In my holidays we had a two night sleepover (It was at our Waikanae batch) with Emma Shea it was an epic sleepover we swam in our pool it was icy cold.

On the last day Emma was there John, Meg, Louise, Emma, Kate and I we went to the waikanae pool it was lovely we went on the slide a lot. It was the best holiday ever.

THINGS I LIKE

- I like tramping in the Orongorongo it is always fun.

-I love traveling on long 12 hour flights because there are so many movies to watch, and once Kate and I got to hand out the Air New Zealand lollies it was soo fun giving them to all the people.

- I love to play with my dog max

- I love having fun with my lego

- I love to go to the cinema, there are always good movies

I love to play on the climbing wall because its so much fun to climb up trying to find your way up!

I was given my name because my mum and dad really liked the name Anna

No but my middle name Clare is from my mothers family side

I have no cousins or anyone else or related to me called Anna

My name means favor grace and gracious

what would you be named if you were the opposite gender ?

If I was a boy I would be called Miles its a bit of a funny name

do you have a nickname ?

my nickname is Anna Myrtle sock hat

who gave it to you ?

my mum and dad gave it to me

how did you get it ?

its because one day when I was little I put a sock on my head and mum and dad started calling me it

If you could name yourself anything at all, what would it be, and why ?

If I could name myself anything it would be Elizabat because I think it is a beautiful name it is also a very pretty name.

Reflecting on last year

last year I enjoyed going to camp for the day, joining in on flippaball and doing art when the year 5’s + 6 ‘s were at camp

When I started to play in the school flippa ball team I learnt how important teamwork is

How have you became more powerful ?

I have finally slowed down more in writing and this had made me more powerful

Play is Worthwhile

I believe that play is worthwhile so I hope this convinces you that to!

S- Playing games keeps kids fit and healthy.

E- Play keeps you healthy and fit by playing games and different kind of sports. Kids run around and get fresh and healthy.

E- When kids play games they will get fresh and full of air and they will be healthy and they will learn properly!

S- If kids didn’t play then they would never learn.!

E- If kids did play the will get hurt but then they will learn the next time what to do. When kids work inside and never get outside they will never learn how to play and when they are older and they will never be able to teach their children. how to play.

E- Play will help kids learn a lot of new things, and if we didn’t play we would never learn all the new things.

S- kids imagine with all the games they Play.

E- Kids will Imagine and when they Imagine they will be creative, kids can play fantasy games and they will learn from your imagination..

E- Kids will play and when they are playing the will be creative and imagine all different things.

C- I believe play is worthwhile because play will keep you fit and healthy, it will grow your imagination and Creativity and if kids never ever played they would never learn because they can learn from their mistakes

so I hope this will convince you that to!

Smoking ..

should not be allowed anywhere!!

S- Adults will smoke and there kids will want to!

E- Kids will see their parents smoking and they will say “ooh I want to smoke”, and there parents will let them and then the childs child.(etc)

E- kids will want to smoke and they will think it is ok because there parents are doing it and then lots of people will do it.

S- Smoking can get you badly sick and then everyone will get badly sick.

E- If everyone gets sick the all the trees and animals will be dying and the air will get all puffed and it will be stinky.

E- You will get very sick and when everyone gets sick the world would end because when everyone gets sick lots of people will die then everyone will die.

S- People smoke because they think they are cool.

E- People only smoke because they think it is cool  but it is just making your lungs more bad and then your lungs get all puffed up.

E- In the olden days the kids smoked because they think it is cool but now a days only a couple of people do it, but if everyone still smoked a lot then the world would get polluted.

C- Smoking should not be allowed because it is bad for you, it can make all the air polluted and if everyone breathed in all the polluted air and would die! So EVERYONE should not smoke!

Pete,

Walking on the beach,

His hair frizzy as anything,

He walked over to the bar

But on the door there was a sign that said

“ If your name is Bad Black Pete you may never come in  again”

So he left with a sad, droopy face.
